A Year in Review
« on: Dec 31, 2009, 08:29 PM »
Obviously this is an ice fishing forum, but being new years eve its nice to reflect on times gone by.  This past year brought much different angling experiences for me. For starters, I started fishing for Carp. I find it enjoyable tying my own rigs and experimenting with different methods catching them.  I also did not fish for largemouth bass one time this year.. instead, I was introduced to an area in northern RI that still holds all smallmouth an no largemouth - a real treasue of a spot. I must say smallmouth and carp have truely replaced largemouth in my book as the best sport fish there are.

Feel free to post anything you'd like to remember your year by.

(Big thank you to Matt B for showing me the "Hidden River")

Native Brookies at the Hidden River too... most beautiful trout you've ever seen....
