Caught another that was 13 on the button but I didn't want him to freeze and shrink an 1/8 th inch lol

Buddy been there last 2 days, they got some good ones first day , havnt heard today. He said the night bite is a lot better according to a lot of guys he talked to

Spent Saturday and 1/2 day today fishing the  Sag. river with a friend. Bite was tough lots of lookers. We only manged 10 keepers. .

Buddy got back yesterday and said was getting hard to get around, was stuck a few times as the snow they got !

.   There was 17” hard ice, need spud for the crack which was out about 1/2 mile. Buddy drove over it, when I went was open about a foot we planked across. They got some snow, 4 wheelers getting stuck off main trail in places

The ice looked good in the pictures,(nice job on the walleye), but as always be careful. I read in the news that last week a young kid went through with his atv and had to be rescued. Then a couple of days later two men also went through the ice on their atv and sadly they both did not make it out. Oddly enough I haven't seen any news of this on the Reports and Conditions page.

.         As with any lake, u can fall in. If I went out another 2 miles I could have drove in open water!! No way gonna fall in with 17” ice, the two that went in and didn’t make it were5 miles from where we were, don’t know ice conditions there. Stay away from cattails, seen guys driving thru them,(idiots) they draw heat, use common sense and u will be fine
