Title: Is the otter xt lodge wider than the sled when collapsed???
Post by: mc1984ss on Apr 30, 2018, 03:42 PM
I still do not have my otter xt lodge assembled and am trailer shopping. I want to make sure that it will fit. The sled is about 39" wide by itself but on the website it says 42" wide when folded up / collapsed. Is this true? Do the poles stick out past the sled once assembled? Anyone able to measure thiera for me please? I am really splitting hairs with trailer size to get my ATV and otter on it. Thank you so much in advance!

I measured 42-43” on mine. The sled is wider on the top. Not sure why they said 39”. The tent does not increase the width by more than one inch. Good luck!
