$25 Sled Build-Up

Redwood 2X8's and old K2 downhill skiis

Made the hitch outta 1/2 in conduit

1/2in osb decking


Found these 2X4 hangers at the local hardware store to stiffen things up...

Minnow bucket "keeper"

1 1/2 slotted pvc for the rods

I have always thought that conduit would work great to make a hitch. But I never did it let us know how it works.

I see them just fine. Does everybody else? I figure it weighs about 80-90lbs empty. It pulls pretty easy and with the fourwheeler, you don't even know it's back there when it's completely loaded. the conduit works great although I haven't had it in any deep snow yet but I'm sure it'll do just fine. dimensions are 6ftX4ft and the sides are 1ft.

Thanks Wayne. I've added a couple of things since the hut party. Rod holders and lift handles. Got the rest of the stuff to mount my Militia flag also.

Today I got pictures....wonder whaaaaa happen before ??   Nice sled...  I have the ski's in the shop for a Smity sled or variation.
