Hattie Derby
« on: Dec 27, 2011, 08:55 AM »
Ive fished the Hattie derby off and on for the past 15 years, but didnt go last year.  How is the ice this year and the fishing?  Is it still a rare sighting of a greenback missle in two days of fishing?  I have a new clam yukon pullover that I'd hate to have shredded in the hurricane winds on hattie, how do you guys think this type of hut would hold up?  I love this Wyoming thread, keeps me chompin at the bit unitll we get good hardwater here in Nebraska, supposed to be 50's and 60's here this week.

The ice is pretty good and if you like catching stockers the fishing is ok. If you can set the hut up in the back of your truck and drive 55 it should work for Hattie. If the high winds and warm weather stick around too long the ice wont last. Good luck if you go!
