After trolling for some info on the site over the last year or so, I figured i could finally contribute a little bit. I've been moving around (for school) quite a bit over the last 8 years and have been fortunate enough to ice fish Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, and now Iowa. Based out of the ames area, I look forward to swapping info with you guys.
Today's report: Kept 15 nice gills and 3 crappies, pitched a bunch more back. Only saw 1 other shack on the lake. Majority came on wax worms, but when the bite slowed down, plastics gained the upper hand. 6'' of ice fairly consistently.
