Hide and Seek

In this video, my buddy is jigging a spoon when the pike comes from what it looks like right out of the sand. It even has sand falling off it. :)

You can actually see the fish sitting there and he's just above bottom and from him takin off the water he moved with his fins just disrupted the bottom.

Yeah that pike was moving its pectoral and pelvic fins and creating a small sand storm around it, possible camouflage? ???  When it kicked off and the water cleared it actually created a small depression in the muck. :D

It was hard to judge the size but I think it would have been close to 30. I wish I had the camera going a did see some fair sized pike but missed recording them.
They had just passed by when I hit the button, and didn't return for another shot. ::)
