Ice Condition

Going out for the first time in a few years tomorrow and was wondering if anyone knew the latest ice condition at Crystal in Ellington?  Thanks.

Please be very careful. I haven’t checked the lake in the past week but last Friday I heard it was all white ice with a ton of water on top of it. The cold may have hardened it back up this week but the ice season is done for me, all the stuff is packed up in the basement.

I’m going to try my luck at the Willimantic River tomorrow, it was stocked recently. I’m sure the water will be roaring but I’m getting the itch to get out.

Thanks, definitely gonna check it well before I head out on it.  Good luck in the Willy.

Thanks, enjoy it. Hopefully you have better luck than I did out there this season.

Much appreciated! I've lived around the area my whole life and never ice fished it so hopefully it picks up tomorrow.
