Highland Lake
« on: Mar 04, 2021, 04:19 PM »
Fished with "Jebra" yesterday. He caught this 17"  largemouth early in the day
shortly after I caught this fatty pickerel,   by far the biggest pickerel I ever caught.

Had to pack up early due to a family emergency but it was a good time while it lasted with someone I met here on "the Shanty".

Thank you sir. I have caught many pickerel as long as that one but not anywhere near the almost coffee-can girth. As far as the family thing, it's going to be a tough couple of weeks but we have a big, close family and will get through it. Thanks again for the well wishes.

Was there yesterday. Ice thick and firm. Slow fishing. 2 small browns. One fish average in our group.
If you can't play nice, get off the ice!
