Some friends and I gained access to a small private pond so we decided to try and target big Sunfish and slab Crappies. We tried shallower water but were having a hard time finding any weeds, it seemed that the fish were mostly out roaming and feeding in the Basin. We didn't catch a lot of fish on our outing but the Quality was definitely there! The key to catching them was to stay mobile and only fish a hole for a few minutes before moving on and using heavy Tungsten jigs and Rippin' Raps to get down to the fish that you did mark quickly.
