What reel for an ice hunter md heavy?

Just bought a 32" med heavy ice hunter rod and now need a reel.  What reel do you suggest? $50 is about the top of the budget cause this will not be a rod used daily where I fish. Thanks

For 50 bucks go for a shimano and hot sauce it.wont let ya down. small swivels dont like the line roller and get stuck
