Harpenter and I settled in on a spot at sunset marina. Not a secret spot as it was pretty much swiss cheese when we got there and we then had a blast catching about 50-60 white bass. ranging from a 1-3lbs. our target was a few eyes and we finally caught 1. a nice 16" fish.
the ice was probably 12" thick however about 4-5 of that was super soft. with 51 today and 60 tomorrow and probably near an inch of rain on the horizon the next 48 hours, I think we are done. The farm pond in the back yard edges are nearly gone.
