wife and I went out of south shore both days this weekend, had a good bite saturday.  Bunch of eyes only 2 keepers though but had consistent bite of perch.  Sunday moved 5 times no keeper eyes but found a few perch at each hole to get a couple meals out of.

Much slower bite this morning at LP. Caught a few small eyes and one good perch. Hopped all around in 28-31’, marking a few at each stop. Still real soft under the crust. Wheeler was digging in a bit. Still great to be out. Looking forward to the next adventure.

I used my four-wheeler when I fished off from of Cleveland Sunday.  There was some slush in places but easily managed to get around. Drove out to buoy 123 and moved around a bit.  Did cut one hole that had only 4" of ice, but most was 7" to 10".  Someone said a side by side broke through at the pressure ridge in front of Apps, but I cannot confirm the report.  Also my four wheel has no chains or studs, just knobby tires

Nice haul Jake.  I guess I should have gone to Oneida today instead of Sodus.

I agree.  Nice to see someone is on em.  I've been struggling so far this winter.  Looks like we have a bit of time left though with weather coming.

Well 2 days in a row my perch bite has definitely crapped out no more walking , got to get the sled out of mothballs , and hook up the big shack and go hunting some uncharted water ,
Pounder I feel for ya as I went through that a long time ago , but it was worth it ,

Went out Saturday from the south shore and did 15 total walleye with only one 19" keeper. Added 6 perch. Not a great day but very happy considering the tough bite. Started at a break in 25" and had consistent marks move through from first light to 830 then really slowed down next 2 hours. Moved to 34" small flat and started to get some movement including the one keeper eye but everything else was short.  The size of perch really make the day as I have yet to throw one back. Not a lot of them for me but footballs every weekend!

Got out tonight with my son.  Didn’t mark a ton and most were fussy. He scratched out a limit and I got 2.  Easy walking....only a few slush spots and they weren’t too bad. Things should set up nicely with the cold this week.

Had a great outing with  Mooneye61 Sunday on the South shore. It made up for the 8 hours of zero action the week before. Pull was doable as we stayed in sled tracks the whole way out. 32 fow. Lots of shorts, a few keepers, but the perch were on fire. If it wasn't  Super Sunday there would have been more. We have never left an active graph before. Now I wish we stayed.

I only missed one game in all the years of sports for my son and daughter. The best of times for my wife and I. When the sports came to an end, we wished that there was more. We miss it, but, glad we were part of it with them. Have fun Pounder, they’re only young once!!!!😎

Hey Ponder....my kids have all grown up and either moved away Marine Corps) or don't have time to fish....Enjoy it I think a;; of us have been at that point. Mine all played sports> Really miss watching them.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught.
