The shore behind Circle K in Constantia is just bad, drifting snow and slush is melting the little bit of ice there. Not to mention it seems people like to try their luck, and head right towards the creek. It's worth the wait, and we are supposed to get a bit more tonight. Recovery guy is gonna kill it again this year.

I can’t believe they even attempted it there. At least it wasn’t too bad.

Looks to me like a slush pocket probably caused by pressure cracks that are always out of that area together with a large utv pulling 2 huts with more than 1 person on board .    Aka user error

Is there any reports on Valentine Beach.  Is there anything to be concerned about going out of there

Another one down in Constantia, I guess they thought we made ice under that snow.
Wow. Sometimes your just bound and determined to fish no matter the cost. Lol I hope every one got out/away ok.
I went outa Lewis yesterday. Didn’t do well at all. I felt comfortable with the ice. A buddy put his foot thru the pressure crack after I crossed in same spot. Careful fellas.
Tight lines perchin

I make statements based on my experiences in the location I fished only. Check ice conditions for yourself.
Stay safe. Tight lines.

We carefully ventured out of Constantia yesterday,
There was some slushy spots under the snow for sure,
mostly 3-5" of not really great/black ice
fished 18', marked a couple,
no action....500 yards out, were the only ones out there...
first time posting...

Be careful HVAC   be careful   I know this sounds like a terrible thing to say,  but I never like to be the first one out there .   And I certainly don't want any one else to take a chance just for me.   Just sayin  I'll go where others have already.

Valentine's Beach was a bar located a couple tenths of a mile just east of William's that closed in the late 90's and was remodeled into a private residence.

Fished east of Chapman in 23-28fow. Had a lot of lookers and was able to get 4 keeper eyes and a couple dozen shorts between 2 guys. Ice was 6-7 inches where we were. Gold Swedish pimple with a whole minnow was working.

First trip out for me this afternoon. Was off the north shore for the evening bite. First hour was slow then the eyes showed up. Had a blast. It was great to finally get out and on the eyes. Ice was 5 1/2 to 6 inches where I was. measured it with a tape.

Got out the last 2 days.  Everywhere i drilled 6-8 inches.  Ran sled.  Good to get back out on oneida and not have to walk.  Stayed on same holes all day.  Just enough action to keep me.  Never seen so many shorts as i have the last 2 days.

Fished out of apps the last 2 hours of light , buddy and I hole hopped a couple times only managed a couple barily short eyes but the jumbo perch all over 10inch kept us busy,  took home 30 perch , they really liked raps tipped with eyeballs or caty jigs tipped with eyeballs or wigglers , fished 24-27'

Is there parking allowed on Lewis point road or better off at one of the South Bay marinas?
