Picture says a half mile wasn’t crazy hard to figure out and if you have a small sense of direction the spot he fished was given up also  :-\

Driving home yesterday... Josh and I saw a shack setup near the channel in Brewerton....😬 that area literally froze up a few days ago.

Yes Larry I saw the same thing !! My guess is who ever that was didn't have a clue where he was, or how dangerous it was.   Sully...

I went out of Lewis last Tuesday and there was someone in the middle of lake. I gotta believe he came in from north shore. I was only on 4” give or take in 25ish fow. I couldn’t believe it.

I'm planning to head out of Constantia on Saturday. Thank you to those who have reported recent conditions. Ice sounds marginal but I'm hopeful this cold snap will help buil more ice before then. Looking forward to more condition reports. Will post how I do

Same story every year on here about gas pockets and unsafe ice and pressure cracks.  You've never seen pressure cracks or shove ice until you ice fish lake erie    Lake is covered and weve had a good stretch of cold weather so ill be making the trip.  I'll just walk this time unless I see with my own eyes

Went out off Sylvan Beach this morning.  Spudded out to 21' and bounced around a bit.  Didn't find any trouble spots, about 4" snow on the ice, I had 5 to 6 inches of ice each hole drilled.  Mostly shorts, few perch and lost a couple keepers at the hole.  Nice till it got windy.

Hey everyone. Hate to say it but lost a brand new first lite jacket off Lewis first thing this morning. Still has tags on it. If anyone found it could you send me a PM?

On a side note...the fish was pretty slow and only ended up with a couple perch. Ice was 5-7 inches everywhere I drilled.

Ooff. That's rough. Love my Firstlite. crap ain't cheap. Hope somebody finds it for you

Tight lines everyone!

430pm lewis pt, crack off to the right took a couple people for a dip today . Watch 1 guy spud the crack then walked where he just hit the ice . Not for nothing LMFAO 😂. He got out ok . As I passed by he told me to look out for it , and he went in the same crack going out in the morning.....  ::)

I drove in to check Chapmans yesterday and two snowmobiles out quite a ways and half a dozen walkers.
Didn't check ice - just saying what I saw.
If I had to guess - there will be machines out and about this weekend.
