damn.....just had 3 cop cars, full siren and lights,fly down past my house on Lakeshore Rd.......there were a few guys out of williams this morning....hope something didn't happen

todays check top is 1 1/2in white ice 1 or2 slush/water in middle 1 -2in black on bottom ice i was not breaking thru top layer as i walked but still not ready imo in the area i checked. if middle layer freezes i may try tmrw

Looking at the weather she should sure up overnight..
I'm coming up Friday to fish Saturday !! Itll he the first time on hard water this year AND POSSIBLY the only time this year

Same where I checked, probably even worse due to an open crack surrounded by skim ice that refuses to close up at all.

Since that great early freeze that left us too quickly it just doesn't want to set up. Hoping the single digits tonight help.
