All the ice from Constantia to Borios is gone, still some in front and east of town around grassy and little island. Really A blessing in disguise to start fresh with new ice, rather than the other crap we had. Cleaned the carbs on the sled today, I give it 2 weeks, that water is damn cold already.

:)

where people mess up  ,they walk out in the morning  and fish when it's time to leave that ice has been getting weaker all day ,they try to walk in and go in.......carry that spud  check the ice while your out there and use it to get off ......now this isn't rocket science it's been warm as hell and the ice all sucks ..... another thing carry a cell phone if you can't get off call for help...... not telling you not to go ,I am telling you good idea to  be  prepared......hate to see someone I like drown over a perch

sully  you tie the rope around your neck and walk out if ya go threw i'll pull ya out with the truck  :roflmao:....you stay safe ole boy

Counted over 50 swans this morn in some open water east of the point. Hope they aren't eating all the bait. The ice that is there is rugged and not safe, Messengers has open water out a quarter mile off shore.

Hope we get the rain and start over at this point. Last years rough ice in some spots was terrible. Figures I sold my boat last fall. Time to get shopping
