got on some ice and gills

Well I got on some ice for the first time this season.  Here's one of the gills that got to keep swimming for another day.

Nice fish. I assume from a pond? Probably be some decent ice by next weekend, of course I have to work Sat and Sun

It's a private lake actually that gets very little pressure and tops out at 18' deep.  It used to be filled with stunted crappies, but now they are almost non-existent now.  If you do find a crappie though it will be 15'' or bigger.

Nice one..I should be able to hit a few ponds monday. 1/5/15 would like to keep u Fishers with reports on ice and fishing. BTW 19 nice crappie yesterday....? Average 12" any ????? Lakes Open....
