I landed a 6in strikemaster mora & a 6in jiffy shaver. Paid $15 for both. Picks of the blades below.

Cleaned up and sharpened the blades with the Gatco ice áuger sharpener.

Cleaned and touched up the áuger flite with leftover sail blue rustolem paint from when I reconditioned my 10in mora.

Where did you get that Gatco Ice Auger sharpener? I looked on the web and can't find that anywhere. Does it work for Lazer style blades that are curved..not flat?

Nice work... So you restored a Mora 10" too? Any chance you might know where a guy could find a set of blades? I've had a 10" Mora for years but it has a cracked blade, so no bringing them back to life with sharpening... Would be nice to get it operational instead of just being wall art. I've gone down the google rabbit hole with no luck and check ebay every couple weeks but have yet to score a fresh set.

No, just searched for Mora blades. I don't know anyone with an Ion... Are they similar?

I've got 4 sets I picked up. I haven't tried yet, but I think the 10in ion blades will work on it. Just check the hole patteren for bolts to see if they match up.

I got it on eBay or Amazon for $15. To tell you the truth just get the gatco sharpener and you can do ice blades & other stuff. All you do is sharpen it with the 22* slot first, then the 25* slot after. Then if you want to take the burr off the back after sharpening you flip it over and LIGHTLY hit the back of the blade with the 11* slot.

I should get one of those sharpeners.ive got my 10” mora blades that could be touched up and 1 spare set.very rare blades to find.I also have a bunch of garage sale augers that could use a little sharpening.

Finished up both augers. A 6in jiffy and a 6in strikemaster mora. Guy sold them both to me for $15. I got 2 new blade covers for them.
