The wife is a big Steelers fan.  I recently bought her a black Roethlisberger jersey and a yellow Steeler turtleneck.  She looked mighty fine, if you know what I mean.  Of course, yesterday, she was flying high.
I CAN clean fish.  My wife, on the other hand, prides herself in the art of filleting fish.  I mean to tell you, she can fillet ANYTHING, therefore I call myself "The Lucky Man."

Some Crazy people out there. You need to give the Seattle offense some major credit. They are tough. Someone mentioned that Cowher is a great coach, what career have you been watching. If Ben didn't make that lucky tackle or if the defense player stayed on the sideline instead of cutting back to the middle Cowher wouldn't have a job right now. Meanwhile look at Mike Holmgren's post season record and RING.

Combine that with a great offensive line and a Pittsburg blitz that creates a one on one with the secondary. Avoid the long haired hippie and it's a long day for the steelers.

Sorry Steelers fans Seattle 34 Pittsburg 17. The bus is braking down and going to stall, good thing the game is in Detroit. They will use the bus as scrap metal for something built ford tough.

vtpike, what are you watching Holmgren was the one trying to keep his job this year.  Cowher is the longest tenured coach in the NFL for a reason.  If you want you could "what if" the Texans into the Superbowl.  Football is a game of inches and a tackle is a tackle, shoestring or not!!

lol, they were both trying to keep there jobs, but if you look at careers holmgren is the better coach, just has been away from the spotlight for a while ??? its going to be a good game, hopefully

It must be that your opinion is similiar to that of the other steelers fans in your area. Cowher has all of you mezmorized or something. He is the longest tenyeared coach in the NFL, and yet still no ring. It almost seems that you are content with making the playoffs and then getting the boot. Other markets wouldn't stand for it!

Ross in Greenville, Mi.

God made the world 3/4 water and 1/4 land. So it's plain that he meant for us to fish 3/4 of the time and work 1/4 !

I think this could go either way,

If Seattle gets a 10 point lead early they are going to have to major advantage, it throws Pitts running game off and they cant gamble as much on Defense, giving Hasselback time

BUT

If Pitt can just pound it and play Steelier football and control the games intensity they will win.

Just my 2 cents

cowers job may not have been in "jeopardy" this year but the talk had begun, he was only getting the team so far, year after year but coaches have been fired for less, and your saying seattle is a large market NFL team :o lol, take your own advice about laying off the crack

The large market line was about when Holmgren was with Greenbay never said anything about Seattle being a large market. Sorry about getting fired up but it just riles me some times. I'm done.

Meanwhile back in the Ice Shanty.......
Has the rain a father?
Or who has begotten the drops of dew?
From whose womb comes the ice?
And the frost from heaven, who gives it birth?
By the breath of God ice is given and the broad waters are frozen.
The waters harden like stone and the surface of the deep is frozen.

As I Cowboys fan, I'll never cheer for the Steelers, so.....

'Hawks    28
Steelers  24

I think Seattle is better than most people think and here's hoping the Steelers are a little over-confident!  (You can always hope, right?)

Not quite....I am another long suffering Seattle fan from CNY. I am just sitting here and enjoying this. I am glad that Pitt is the favorite. The 'Hawks can use the "lack of respect" for motivation.... Seattle has the best offensive line in the game and that is where the game is won.
