Ice conditions

Taking my friends dad out tomorrow. He lives close to little Swartswood Lake,wondering what is fishable around that area thanks.

Seldom turns out the way it does in the song

fished little swartswood yesterday no fish but safe ice 6 in

Fished lake hopatcong henderson bay by the post office yesterday. Caught some picerels and three nice size yellow perch. Ice was good 7 to 8 inches thick.

There were guys on main lake at LH last Saturday... Supposedly the ice is 7 inches  thick.    Looked sketchy; half of great cove had open water, main lake had patches of open water too.  I was just passing through.
