I like to use beans, Try to get the small ones, They flutter nice and you wont believe the amount of crappies that you catch, they love that slow flutter, that and waxworms on a shrimpo

Smelt the all purpose fish. Great bait, fun to catch on a jig pole, and real good to eat. ;D ;D

smelt...whole ones for burbot, halves for pickerel, small pieces will work in a pinch for perch, work good and they are easy to come by, either buy em or catch em
Theres only 3 seasons..open water, hunting and icefishing!

Fatheads or emeralds. Perfect size for jumbo perch, any walleye and pike. Salmon like the smaller size. Use the head for pannies and crappies
