 i have only accessed from the state launch but do very well off the oaks fishing for perch and panfish in the spring..  I made the trip up from Albany a month ago to fish off it and got there at first light to see it closed up. That was discouraging.

Had to go back 6 pages to bump this up but does anyone know if there in a bait shop that has reopened right next to the lake? I believe it is/was on cr48 that runs along the west side of the lake.

Rented a house up there this past weekend. As a group we did terrible. Landed one bass, one perch and 3 bullhead. Never fished it before but we had a blast.
