Yo Freddy

Yup, it has something to do with my I phone. Last year I accessed with my old android . Not sure I pushed all the right buttons when I wired up with the new iPhone. I can still get here but have to relog in every time I access. Just a pain.

Anyway, different day, same story. Water is still to warm to make ice here on the Pond. At least it looked like winter here on the Pond today. Dropped about 5 inches in my driveway.

Looking at the 10 day forecast does not fill my ❤️ with joy either. No early Christmas present this year. Broke my string of consecutive years finding safe ice somewhere by the 17th of December.

Right now , I am worried about getting on safe ice by the end of 2021. Have equipment, will travel. Looking for an email or private message from one of my north country cohorts. Meanwhile the shore fishing has been thin.

Got down to 13 degrees last night. Probably helps to cool the water temps a bit, we are going to need a lot more nights like that to build some sustainable ice.

Glad I’m not the only one “chomping at the bit”.

Bad news, I am quarantined at camp for 10 days. Can’t spend Christmas with the rest of the Boggey clan. Further bad news, no visitors. No version of cribbage solitaire I know of.

Good news, tested negative for COVID today. Don’t mind telling you all I am seriously BUMMED but grateful.

13 degrees this morning on the shores of Sandy Pond. Better news. Alex Bay recorded temps in the single digits. If nothing else it should aid getting the water temps down. Got to think

Thanks for the pics. My family had a camp on Blind creek for 50 years. Nice to see the wood wall I built with my neighbor is still holding up. Too many hours to count on the water and the dock at that location.

Only reason he knew anything about that area many years ago I fished to many days in a row in the same holes , and he was fishing from his house with spy glasses , before that nobody was anywhere near where you or I fished
Funny thing last time I fished my cords he had a pine bow in a hole I drilled , came out and asked if I seen a marker , but of course I couldnt it was under my sno sled , 😜
