Die hard attitude pays off

Headed out on Friday to the float plane launch north of Selkirk(  What's that place called ?), got there at 9:00 am and stuck it out through the rain and wind. Me and my buddy pulled up about 12 nice eatin size eyes and lost about twice  as many to light biting minnow pintching specialist  :%$#!:  the best run of bites were between 9:00 and 10:30 but they came in steady all day untill dark.
  :callcops:  The CO's came down and checked us and a few others but it seemed that there heart was not in it as it was raining. Gonna try there again on Monday if I can get all my work done, I'll be the guy out there asleep at the hole  ;D

great job with the eyes!!!....and toughing it out with the wet windy weather....here's wishing you more of the same luck on Monday....Grump :thumbsup:

Nice to see you hooked into a few...long day though !!! Yep...I found it to be a really light bite as well!!! Monday may just be a little quieter on the Red than Sunday !!!!  ;) Good Luck.

Um, most folks call it the float plane base...that's the north end of Sugar Island.

Good job toughing it out...I had to spend Friday afternoon drinking...um, I mean entertaining, Suzanne's brother-in-law from Oilberta.

Someday I'll kick this cold and get out on the Red...sigh.

I was out at sugar island on friday too....morning bite was better for us too. :)
