I sucked in the tourney, Dude....My Dad had a quad bypass first part of August and I ended up basically house sitting him for over 2 months....he's back on his feet now but we spent over a month in Syracuse rather than driving the 100 miles each way every day.......

this is normally where i would say "yes but dont discount michigan you scurvy buggers" but i did that in the spring for the MFF tourney..and we all seen how that turned out.  but i do feel that we will make alot stronger showing this winter then we did during the summer..thats for darned sure.  and marsh...wasnt pennsyltucky supported by only one member in overall points in the state vs. state.

polarbear is a fishing machine.  ;D If NY had him, PA won't even stand a chance.  ;D

Just kidding, every and any state has a chance at getting a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place fish in the tourney. We all have great fishing, and we all will stand behind our state reguardless if the fish are smaller.  :P It's all about timing, luck and being able to find the big and hungry fish.

  Fish on!

Na- It's all in good fun.  8)

I know LW will do a good job running the official tourney as always...

IceGeek and I have each taken our turns at the state vs. state and province.
It's someone else's turn.
If it's going to be "normalized" HS students need not apply.

Hey how about we get someone from a different state then those competing. Hopefully that will make things go a little smoother. I do feel it not fair that we have another NY'er run it (not saying you didn't do a good job) Just let another state have a shot. Hopefully we can find someone as dedicated as you and icegeek were

I guess I dont see much sence in choosing from another state if the New York guy's did such a good job .
It almost sounds as if you say they were good but , at the same time you say ,  you feel it would be more fair ,  which questions their integrity !

I think that warrants further explanation....almost sounds like sour grapes to me.....Esox

BTW...just as an example,,,why in God's name would somebody from lets say, Oklahoma want to run a tourney for us up here??

What didn't go "smoothly" on the past couple tourneys anyway???

icegeek did a great job, everything was out in the open and no cheating would go unoticed, unless marshrat got in his scoring system that only he understood and could calculate? it doesnt matter who runs it, the scoring is the same, post your fish with tape and card, not difficult for anyone to do, time consuming yes, lonewolf wasnt from any of the competing states on MFF, yet i still didnt see any fish from you ???

I think someone needs to step back and take a long hard look at the contest that took place last year !
Nothing could have been run any smoother than it was . Remember something ... the contest was run by a volunteer and the rules were posted clearly for everyone to see .
If you don't like the way any of the contests are being run or the rules its very simple DONT JOIN THEM !
It's pretty bold to even suggest that there was unfair activity or things weren't done quite fair or to your liking .
