The adventure begins Tuesday

I think Tuesday is going to be my first trip out on the ice. There's some good ice North a ways, One of the lakes near me is at 4", and thanks to the cool down at the end of this week the rest of the lakes around here should have a good layer of ice on them by then.

I'll spend this weekend prepping and getting things organized in the truck, making sure all the rods are ready to go, and studying maps.

Good luck! Be careful and spud your way out as we don't want any more tragic news this year, we've had too many already. Not sure about over there but ice has proved to be very inconsistent here in nw wisconsin so far. It's supposed to get cold here starting Saturday night so hopefully that will firm a lot of things up.
