Has anyone been up there lately to check out the ice fishin dept?

I went a couple weeks ago, and it was very disappointing.  They had six tilts, a bunch of shanty's, some jig poles, but that's about it.  Maybe my expectations were too high?  I've heard it's ice fishing department is much better right before the season begins.  Other than that, the place is great.
