Just around 15lbs. I could have made it much smaller and lighter, but I can get my son stuff on there when he goes. Also another benefit of being 14" high, deeper snow and loading in my truck when alone(90% of the time). From the ground I set one end of the shanty on the sled and slide it on. Then the same procedure to load in the truck, from the sled I set one end of the shanty on the tailgate and then slide her in, easy! Still playing with modifications/accessories...

Bart thanks for the pics. Now I take it that is EMT cond.. And did you do all the welding on it? Looks pretty cool nice job. Looks like great joints on the welds. Also all smooth lines. And lol is that 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch cond.? I'm going to guess it's 3/4". We have aluminum cond. at work and I'm thinking of making something like this out of that. I work for a wholesaler for elec and plum and mech and heating/AC supplies. So I have an unlimited suppl of parts . Now I just have to put a plan into motion.

Not really a Icefishing project, but I made a cookie sheet lantern rig for smelting next spring. I guess I'm trying to revitalize this topic, love to see what projects are going on out there...

Stumper, that's gonna be one mackin shanty.  4 wheeler pull it?  any idea what it weighs?  Dancers like Blue carpet...

The employment of effort, hard work, time, and energy put in locating fish will offend noone.
