Pickerel lake

Has anyone ice fished this lake any information would be greatly appreciated

Use the SD GFP maps, surveys, & stocking reports to make some educated guesses, book some lodging, and make the trip.  You probably won't slay bucket fulls of perch; we just don't have the high water habitat like we did 5-10 years ago.  There's still plenty of quality fishing to be had though; especially if you like a multi species trip where you can ice aggressive pike, smallmouth that fight twice their size, nice walleyes, and occasional jumbo perch (not to say you wont catch eaters).  If one lake isn't producing, a 5-15 minute drive gets you to the next lake.

Thanks  I mostly go for the adventure just keep enough to eat more of catch and release

Take a look at Mike's maps.  He gives several gps coordinates of different features to try.  Also go by sportsman cove in Webster.  Nice guys with good info.  Good luck.
