Help no clam plate instructions?

I found some online but it shows nothing about the square bearing. shows it already on the plate so which way does it go large side of bearing up or small side of bearing up? Called Clam They said they don't have on to tell me which way.

Ok on the plate where the shaft runs through is a square piece of metal that holds the bearing. It does not show which way to install 1 side shows little of the bearing the other side the whole bearing.

The square block that holds the shaft and bearing, gets mounted under the plate, obviously with the hexagonal portion that fits into the drill chuck facing up...
