Tupper Access
« on: Jan 23, 2018, 07:26 AM »
Hey everyone, just wondering if there is public parking area anywhere in Tupper. And a bait shop.... Any help appreciated. We have never fished up there before.

Baitshop at Red Top Inn. Access right across the street or at the boat launch down the road.

Be careful at the boat launch if that's where you go.  Don't go straight out because the Raquette River makes a bend there.  Bear to the left (south) and give the river a wide berth.  Jay at the Red Top can help you out with more info!

I'm not looking for someone to give up any secrets here but, being I never fished this lake before, west shore "across" from launch looks like a decent spot based on contour map.

You will swimming if you fish where the yellow mark is.  The current of the raquette river is strong there.  Talk to jay at the red top. He will steer you in the right direction

Jay at the red top will let you park right at the hotel and access the lake there. Accessing from the state launch can be sketchy
