I do remember in the past I would use a #12 treble hooked through both lips of the minnow, a split shot just heavy enough to get the minnie down under a float bobber. Worked quite well.

3. Home-made marabou jig

the past couple years it been a northland buckshot rattling flutter spoon.  killer!!!

Glow chartreuse Amphipod fly by Liam's Lures, Lindy Frostee Spoon in firetiger, and minnow on a gold jig head

Silver Hali with a spike or two.
Small Hot head jig with small white curly plastic on it..
Hook and a minnow.... ;D
