patience men. we are still pretty far away from when we normally get good ice. one good cold snap can lock em all up. lake temps are still high 30's low 40's. not too far away

Temps in the high 20's in central NJ got my blood pumping for some ice fishing! The 10 day does not look much in our favor though.

I do a trip to Maine MLK weekend with my buddies, I would like to get on the ice once before then if nothing else to get the traps all ready to go

10 day forecast looking good for NJ! All in the 20's and some nights in the teens! maybe small stuff will be safe soon!

I see colder nights but not that cold and I'm in Sparta.

I'm near the water gap, the next couple days are on the warmer side but then it drops to the 20's and teens after that!

I'll be up in Connecticut for a week around Christmas and I'm hoping to get on the ice while I'm up there. I have to be back in NJ for a New Years gig so hopefully by the time I get back some good pike or musky lakes are frozen.

This whole warm-cold-warm-cold thing is killin me. It got bitter cold to get our hopes up. Then it goes and warms up every couple of days!

Night time temps for the next 10 days look pretty good. Maybe some hope?
