Speaking of augers.. I will be getting a new one for christmas.. sounds like the lazer. 

I was talking with my dad and he has been using the same auger for 20+ years... when asked were he bought it he said it was a hand-me-down from his step-dad... so I'm guessing the dang thing is at least 30 years old... maybe more.  He said it was 4.5 or a 5.5 mora... any ideas as to pinpointing exactly what year it was made?

thats one heck of an auger  :o :o  you are gunna have to wait till there is 16 inches of good ice to even get out on it but you for sure shouldn't have any problems getting any fish through that size hole ;D ;D ;)
