I just wanted to let everyone know that our friend GOATBOY DTM ( Dan ) has been battleing an illness for about a year now. In the past month things have gotten a bit worse. He is still battleing, but it has been a struggle lately. So any prayers you could send his way would be greatly appreciated. I will keep everyone updated on how he is doing. Thanks. BJ

I cant believe that I started this thread this morning and now I have to inform everyone that Dan has passed. I called the hospital to see how he was doing and his wife was silent. She had left me 3 messages on my cell but it was off. So right now Im pretty shaken up. Dan was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet and he loved icefishing. He was one the original Goatboys and he made our avatars as well as the original avatar for our buddy HIMO and our friends in Wisconsin. He also made a Goatboy cd every year for our Goatboy Weekend in N.H. I just want to thank him for being such a good friend to me and my family,and for introducing me to the great sport of icefishing. Rest In Peace Dan! Love ya brother... BJ

Sorry to hear about this and my prayers are offered on behalf of his family and friends. Heaven gained a good one today. Godspeed and may his family find love and support in dealing with this during this holiday season. Hopefully they are able to read these comments on this site as this thread is going to grow by pages and pages. Losing a fellow IS brother isnt easy for anyone. ISOP

just when everything is going fine, life always has a way of giving you a reality check and lets you know just how fragile and short life can be. you and his family are in my prayers. at least he's in a better place where he can icefish all the time. R.I.P.
