Ice fishing with thread

I tried using thread as line for ice fishing. It did not work very well

try using transparent sewing thread at walmart looks line fishing line we catch lots of trout using it 20 inches and up

Yup the mono sewing thread. very thin and strong for its diameter. cheap for a spool and as good as the more expensive line or better.

Ok thanks for the information. The tread I used did not work very well but the transparent thread would work better. This was meant to be funny anyways and I had a fun time doing this.
