So up here in Northern Minnesota we're looking for any way to gain a little "r value" out of anything we have to be in for more that a few minutes. With that being said, some spray foam and a fillet knife to finish made the catch cover lids less drafty, especially when the wheel house isn't dropped down to the ice. Btw one can of great stuff foam does a cover and a half. Really noticed a big difference after.
