I don't have to much to brag about for hogs on the ice. A 4 or 5 lb eel pout maybe. My dad fought a lake sturgeon for 2 hrs on 6"lb floro on a junky medium light rod. That fish would take him to the knot on his spool then he would some how turn it around and then bam away she would go, nothing you could do about it! She was almost 5 feet long, approximately 50 lbs.
Sorry gents didn't see the Connecticut distinction!! My fish came on the Lady Winnebago.
