Fished for a couple of hours at Gem Lake, at the Shelley Dam and got skunked. Not even a single bite. Ice was 10 inches or so. Does anyone have any info or ideas to try? I stopped and looked at the boat dock area off 49th, but hadn't seen where anyone had been fishing and didn't know how the ice was. Seems like the ice at the Shelley Dam is fine, just not very experienced fishing in this area.
