Coleman Focus Burner repair

Has anyone tried to make a replacement burner for the Focus 5 heater? On another site someone stated that he makes a replacement using stainless steel mesh.

Sure can!!! My neighbor has two Focus 5 heaters sitting on a shelf in his garage and doesn't ice fish. I bought a Mr Heater Heater/Cooker from him for $2. I think I need to make him an offer.

I realize this is an old post but had info to add you might want to know.
You can get your coleman focus 5 and 10 heaters repaired .
The coleman focus rebuildt burners are rebuilt on your burner tube assembly you provide from your coleman focus heater.
The rebuild is a 3 layer high temp stainless steel screen to be at least 5 times stronger than a factory burner bulb for crush test so it will take rough handling without falling apart.
Have most of the parts as well so just send an email and ask qestions for a reply.
