We where out on the weekend and there was 26" of ice. and we didnt have a power auger so we didnt think we would be moving around all that much. But than we decided to try using two people to drill the holes. each person puts a hand on top of the auger and they both turn it. We where going through about 26" if ice in about 35 seconds. still no comparison to a power auger but this method works great for us
