Agree, it sounds like it is getting choked out aka not enough air under a load. You can bring it by my house and I can look at it if you want.

Yep, same same happen to us last time on Beaver Creek & Frances...snow packed in that small exhaust hole. Need to make them feet just a bit taller so they can't touch anything. Maybe another O'Grady bomb proofing project is in my future
...
