Title: Central Wisconsin Walleye - Petenwell Flowage 1/20
Post by: JJdubs on Jan 21, 2018, 02:53 PM
Hooked up with the Finicky Fooler owner and creator Tom to do some ice fishing for walleye on Petenwell Lake in central Wisconsin. We managed to catch a few jigging and and also a few on the Finicky Fooler tip ups including a nice slot walleye!

Ice fishing walleye can be tough at times but I am glad we ended up getting into a few fish. We moved 3 times before we finally found some active fish away from some crowds.

I picked up a fooler at the Milwaukee ice show after seeing it in action. I finally got out this last week and I'll definitely be buying a few more from him at the show next year! I love reeling vs. hand lining in a tipup and you can set the fooler so sensitive that it's ridiculous!

Yeah for sure! I really enjoy fishing with them. I never really liked traditional tip ups, to me it was kind of boring. These are a great fit to replace traditional ones.
