Safe Ice Anywhere in North Jersey.
« on: Feb 24, 2006, 01:56 PM »
I was looking to get out this weekend if possible in NJ.  I live in Middlesex County - central Jersey and there is nothing here.  Does anyone know if Cranbury Lake or ANY other lakes in the North Jersey are safe to fish on this weekend?  I would appreciate any help or info.  Thanks!

It doesnt look good for NJ,at the beginning of the week after that really cold spell the pond at the bottom of my street and even the pond i pass on 80 west was covered completely with ice. Now its still been pretty cold since then with temps reach 40 and in the 20's at night yet both of those ponds are melting with open water when i passed them today.
