Nj season not over yet

Fished budd lake today from 445 -600 caught 4 pike and 1 crappie Ice 3-5 Inches but not great. Got to use the new nills hand auger its great no effort at all.

Very nice man, great to see you were able to get out today. It gives me something to look forward to, as I didn't know it was locked up with that much ice. Should be good still throughout next week with cold temps. expected, I am guessing. Might go there Monday.

You think with temps in the low 40's during day and 20's at night and a real cold Saturday that it will get any thicker by Sunday???  I have to know...6'5" 250..dont want to take any chances LOL

You have to be one of the craziest FED up guy on NJ ice . I drove by last night & seen you out there. Dave please next time take someone with you & have ice pick's on.  We don't need to lose anyone from this site. I might big might try NJ next Wed

Man --BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!! Don't be a statistic! I know it's hard to just watch a frozen lake from the shore but it's really not worth the risk.
