Here are some details on the Fishing Lake derby.
It is called "
Fishing Lake FISH ON Ice Fishing Derby"
It's going to take place at Saskin Beach which is 21km E of Wadena on highway #5, 2 km S to Fishing Lake.
It will take place on Sat. Feb. 25th from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.
Advance hole (Before Feb. 10th) - $50.00.
Regular hole (After Feb. 10th) - $60.00.
Second hole - $30.00.
Prizes to be awarded at 3:00pm.
The area will be pre-drilled ahead of time, so bring something to break the ice.
No electronics or ice fishing tents allowed.
Fishing Lake is a CR1 type lake so barbless hooks only.
25 prizes worth $27850.
The prizes will be determined solely based on weight of any fish species.
There will be some raffle prizes based on hidden time/first fish/etc.
