Depends on how much was there.  It would be okay if there is plenty but it will be sloppy.

you should be fine just watch for old holes any open old holes get bigger from the run off i have seen six inc holes become 10 inch holes and ten inch holes become big enough for a good size man to fall threw also if we wind up getting any snow right after the rain take a spud with you until we have had a few days of good cold weather a 18-20 inch hole covered with one inch of ice and snow could make for a bad day :o
early mornings,cold north winds,hard ice,good friends and cold high life..FLAG UP!.priceless

I would venture to say it would be safe but to be cautious of the open spots..I mean we had over a foot of ice! but by the weather it looks like after this weekend it should be right back to freezing with no snow on top :)

was on strip lakes down by Canton yesterday. had 6" clear ice with 3-4" of white ice. Water over most lakes, watch for inlet pipes or discharge areas melting the ice.

oak run had 11" of ice, has places that melted snow and refroze. did come across places east of dam that had air bubbles coming up every now and then, thin ice or open all together, 24' of water. also the lake level was lowered 3' after freeze, makes it fun getting on and off.
