I am new to the site and would like some feedback on the Eastman Icecube 4 for pike spearing. Has any one used one of these icecubes and do they darken out enough for good visibility? Any info would help. Thanks.
I have one and love it. I love to spear and stay portable trying different pike waters . I just added an ice saw to my arsenal and I can't wait to try it out.I tie my decoy off the same way the others mentioned. I'm sold on a big lively sucker but want to play around with a few wooden decoys this Winter.Milty , where abouts in Mi. are ya from ?I fish Jackson , Lenawee and Washtenaw Counties
I am new to the site and would like some feedback on the Eastman Icecube 4 for pike spearing. I have been spearing for several years and have 2 permanent shanties but would like to be more mobil to try different areas for scouting puposes. Has any one used one of these icecubes and do they darken out enough for good visibility? Any info would help. Thanks.
Well I had an opportunitiy over the holiday weekend to try out my new ICECUBE 4 and have to say I love it. Set up and take down is real fast 1 minute or less 5 minute set up if you use the screw in ice spikes (which work very good). Fishing in Huron county wildfowl bay and we saw 18 pike all of legal size and speared a 30", 2@ 32" and a 40-1/2" 15lbs female. Wow what a fish. Looking for a 45"+ which last season 4 were taken from that area. Love the sport.
anyone know where to order or pickup a eachman icecube 4? i seen one at a local chop for $249 but it seemed a lil steep for me.... i thought the going price was $199 or maybe a little less...
