Wp bite was good today.

Got to a lake this am had a hunch the lot would be an issue with lack of plowing. Didn't really have a plan b as the snow was an issue everywhere. Snow was wet and heavy. Found a local business lot nearby but was closed trucks had numbers on doors called both 2nd guy answered and got permission to park. Headed out slowly and had to work for it. Set a tip up and within seconds it popped got a bunch in short order managed to get a jig hole in eventually. Only fished 3 holes as walking was miserable and the action was plenty on the 2 holes I had. Jig Bite was also aggressive. Managed around 10 to 12 wp I pardoned a few. Kept 8 wp for table. Scored 3 smb and one yp. 2 bass on jigs and 3 wp and yp
Also on jigs. Rest on trap. Action was great I was happy. Silver kastmaster and Swedish pimple was on fire. Great day to be out. Made some chowder and the rest goes to a coworker who is excited to try it. Good day out there. Still have a foot of ice . Only used a hand auger today to lighten the load.

Awesome haul! Congratulations. I couldn't fish today myself as my son had high school hockey - a real bummer. I had a feeling the WP bite would be good.
